Are you looking for Wallix gets its hands on Trustelem and its SaaS authentication solution then this article is for you with all the information.
Trustelem, a company that specialized in controlling cloud access, was acquired by Wallix in exchange for a check for €1,000,000.00.
Wallix signs the first acquisition of its Ambition21 plan with the purchase of French Trustelem for a sum of one million euros. According to a Wallix press release, Trustelem, which was founded in 2013, is the innovator of a single authentication solution in the SaaS model that includes “access management and control capabilities for applications, as well as multi-factor authentication (MFA)”. Wallix is expanding its expertise in the area of cloud-based access management solutions by opening an R&D facility focused on cybersecurity services in Rennes.
Trustelem uses company directories as sources of identities to automatically authenticate and connect workers to their web apps. As a result, permissions can be added more rapidly or removed when an employee departs the organization. When you want to provide robust authentication on an internal collaboration solution where sensitive information about a company’s goods and projects frequently travels, this is an intriguing choice. It should be noted that employees can even be automatically logged into their Windows sessions. System administrators can also specify who gets access to which apps and under what circumstances using a web-based administrative console. Customers are charged by the company for consumption at a starting rate of €1.24 per month and per user, VAT excluded.
An integration to achieve
In comparison to today, only 5% of big and medium-sized businesses would use IDaaS solutions to handle their identity and access management needs in 2022, according to Gartner, according to a news release from Wallix. Asserting in the same press release that “this initial acquisition is a crucial step for the implementation of our Ambition21 plan because it adds a critical technology to our portfolio,” Wallix Group Chairman of the Management Board Jean-Nol de Galzain. Last but not least, it should be mentioned that Vincent Vanackère, Trustelem’s technical director, and Grégory Hak, its president, will be joining the Wallix group as directors of the IDaaS business unit and R&D for IDaaS solutions, respectively.
