  2. First-degree certification verified (BSc/HND or an equivalent);
  3. Certified National Youth Service Certificate (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate
  4. A certificate issued by polytechnics as well as universities that demonstrate entrepreneurship education;
  5. Then signed Global Standing Instruction (GSI);
  6. Third-party guarantees: a high-ranking federal/state civil or government service, clergy, recognized traditional ruler, experts (lawyers accountants, doctors, etc. ) and confirmed employees of established firms.

CBN Grant Application For Graduates Requirements

The group must be an organization which is registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and authentically certified copy (CTC) of all relevant documents filed.

  1. Bank Verification Number (BVN);

Eligibility:

Graduates from any Nigerian university or polytechnic in the last seven (7) years and with an entrepreneurial enthusiasm.

CBN Grant For Graduates Requirements:

CBN Graduate Grant Prohibition:

Trading activities will not be qualified for funding under the features of the Loan Scheme:

  • N5.0 millions for small and sole proprietorships or individual project;
  • N25.0 million to fund partnerships and company projects
  • Rate of interest annualized 5% (9 percent effective from 1 March 2022 or as determined by the CBN)
  • Tenor: Five (5) years
  • Moratorium for 12 months

CBN Grant Application For Undergraduate Investment Limit

Limits are set within Guidelines. Subject to the limit specified in AgSMEIS Guidelines.

CBN Graduate Grant Investment Period

The amount invested will be for a maximum of 10 (10) year (not over the date of December 31 2031,).

There is a 3 year lock-in period prior to exiting in order to stimulate value creation and increase the management capacity of businesses.

Developmental (CBN Graduate Grant ) Component

Polytechnics and universities in Nigeria shall compete in the national biennial entrepreneurship competition to raise awareness and visibility of entrepreneurial or technological innovations among undergraduates Applications for participation under the Development window shall be through submission of application on https://CBNties.com.ng

A Body of Experts (BoE) shall be formed of representatives from both the public and private sector to assess technological and entrepreneurial innovations presented by Nigerian universities and polytechnics.

Five of the top (5) Polytechnics as well as universities at the national level will be presented with the grant award upon the recommendation from the Body of Experts (BOE).
